  • When the day is too nice to sit at home, but, you have no plans.... You take a sweet rogue trip for a little ice cream. 🍨 We went to the cute town of Harriston, ON and discovered a charming town with a lot of pride. There was a lot of really neat stuff to be found. 🍨 The small town has many unique stores, fun murals, and a plethora of ice cream cone sculptures around town.   • Age is nothing but a number. That number in this case is 83. 🎤 We were super excited to fulfill another bucket list concert on our list. We got (very) last minute tickets to see the great @realsirtomjones at the OLG stage theatre at the @fallsviewcasino. Sir Tom took the kids to school to show 'em how it's done. 🎤 The performance was spectacular. Powerful vocals, very energetic, and highly entertaining. The boy from Wales has still got it. 🎤 Of course did many of his huge hits: Delilah, Pussycat, it's not unusual, sexbomb, and my personal fave "Kiss". He also performed a few surprise numbers which were quite fun. His rendition of Sister Rosetta Tharpe's "Strange things are happenin every day" was phenomenal. 🎤 #SirTomJones #Whatsnewpussycat #TomJonesinconcert
  • TipToe through the tulips. 🌷 Most people brought their mothers flowers on Mother's Day.... We brought Mother to the flowers. 🌷 We took Momma K to the @jpniagaratulipexperience so she could pick her own flowers for mother's day. (Nick did the actual Picking). 🌷 This tulip field is located in beautiful Niagara farm country in the town of Pelham.   • Today we celebrated Momma K with a day trip to share some experiences none of us has done before. Our first stop, was a surprise stop at @whitemeadowsfarms where we enjoyed a lovely Maple Tasting Board. The maple inspired charcuterie boards come beautifully presented with an array of sweet & Savoury items to nibble on and enjoy. Gourmet cheeses, maple summer sausage, jams, jellies, maple mustard, bbq sauce, buttermilk pancakes, and of course the 4 grades of their delicious maple syrup. .   • The lighter side of taking a roadtrip. 🔥 We will go out of our way to visit niche museums when we travel. So, when we discovered the Zippo Lighter Museum wasn't too far from where we were staying, we made the 45-minute drive (in the opposite direction) to check it out. 🦛 Set against the backdrop of the Allegheny National Forest, the Zippo - Case museum is located in Bradford, PA. 🔥 Here, you can explore the history of this iconic lighter brand and Case brand knives. Learn about the origins, craftsmanship, their place in pop culture, and the many creative designs they have made over many years.
